A TRULY TRANSFORMATIONAL PERSONAL JOURNEY
“A truly transformational personal journey” … such music to our ears!
In our line of work, you really can’t get better feedback than that! Knowing our training is having a positive impact makes all the hard work worthwhile!
What’s more, our client is leading the way in environmental concerns and we are delighted to be contributing in this journey towards improving nature and addressing the challenges of biodiversity loss, climate change and public health. In fact I’d go as far as to say it’s an honour.
“We need to put nature recovery at the heart of our plans and partnerships with government, communities, business, charitable and voluntary sectors” – says Neil Clark, Manager of the Learning & Capability People Team at Natural England (NE).
Partnering with Natural England over recent years, to help develop resilience for individuals and leaders who are central to enabling the success of Nature Recovery, has been a great source of pride. As well as having a passion for the environment, it requires the skills to collaborate for a shared vision – to build relationships with diverse stakeholders based on strong foundations of trust.
We’ve recently moved into an exciting new era with the launch of the Environmental Collaborative Leadership programme. The aim is to enable individuals to drive environmental collaboration in their networks, enhance their leadership approach and convene key communities and stakeholders that deliver environmental priorities at a landscape scale.
Participants in the pilots tell us the development is already extremely effective. In their words:
“The programme challenged me to think deeply about myself, how I work, and how I present myself, and provided me with tools and support to become more resilient and grow as a person.”
“I've really encouraged others to apply if they get the chance and the whole message around collaboration and partnership with others is something that can only benefit Natural England's way of working. Whilst I always believed in it, I've developed more skills in collaboration and a whole lot of enthusiasm to keep going. The allyship around care and collaboration and support from the other participants remains excellent for my wellbeing and sense of fulfilment at work. Thanks again to course organisers.”
This is music to our ears - not just because of the impact of the development on the individuals and leaders, but because of the vital focus of the work they do.
Shared values – shared priorities – shared vision – shared success.
